Thanksgiving is often considered the start of the holiday season. Celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday of November, it is for most a reason to eat a lot as we are supposed to give thanks for all that we have. It is a reason to get together with family or friends and have a good meal and often involves a lot of travel and stress. That’s where we come in.
Here at Wirth, we understand how stressful the holidays can be. We know that traveling for long periods of time can cause back pain or give you a splitting headache that just doesn’t seem to want to quit. We know that sometimes seeing and spending time with your family isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Sometimes family gatherings can be stressful and maddening. This can cause you to hold tension in your jaw, your shoulders, your back, or any number of other places. Even if you love your entire family, sometimes it can all get to be a bit too much.
For some, Thanksgiving means football. A “Turkey Day Game” is traditional in many towns and families to play. As we all know, sports injuries are many and happen often. This is another thing that Wirth can help with in case something happens which is painful and dangerous. Even if you’re not playing football on Thanksgiving, the celebrations can get a bit rambunctious. There have certainly been people who have been hurt by excessive celebration, and I don’t just mean a player getting fined a large amount of money.
Other people think of Thanksgiving and immediately the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade comes to mind. This is especially true of those who love the arts and often may contribute to them. If the Rockettes are your favorite part of Thanksgiving, you very well may be a dancer. If you like seeing the new Broadway shows that are being featured, then you may be an actor. Either way, the possibility of you developing pain from your craft is high. Wirth can help you as well.
As you travel and give thanks for whatever it is that you may be grateful for, know that we are giving thanks for you. We are happy that you have chosen us to help improve your quality of life through hopefully reducing your pain level. Remember as you gather with family that any pain that may occur can be hopefully helped by us when you get back.
