Is Chiropractic Care Safe? The standard of safety that chiropractic care has is the same as any other non-invasive medical procedure. There is always an extremely small chance of risk, however chiropractic care has been widely considered to be one of the safest methods of pain treatment. Due to the fact that chiropractic care does not involve surgery, needles, or medication, it is a very low risk. You may have heard of some form of stroke caused by chiropractic care, but all studies done show that these happen spontaneously in people with certain pre-existing conditions regardless of chiropractic treatment and are not related.
